I-TECH, the HIV/AIDS Twinning Center, and PEPFAR Mozambique. January 2010.
CHI worked with the project team to produce a CD-ROM and website to support rollout of their innovative HIV prevention efforts in Mozambique. In addition to a key document developed for UCSF's pilot project, the Mozambique Positive Prevention Training Manual, the toolkit provides curricula, reports, and other resources developed by organizations involved in HIV prevention and care throughout the world, but especially in Southern Africa.
Primary Care of Veterans with HIV
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, April 2009.
This 350-page manual offers a practical approach to the screening and treatment of comorbid conditions in individuals with HIV. Compared with the overall HIV-infected population in the United States, veterans with HIV are older, more likely to be members of minority groups, and more likely to have a history of substance use. VA clinicians must learn to prioritize and coordinate screening and treatment for important comorbid conditions while maintaining excellence in the care of HIV infection.
